Configure CleanBrowsing DNS on a Netgear Orbi Router

Learn how to change the DNS settings on your Netgear Orbi mesh router to use CleanBrowsing. This guide covers the specific steps to enable content filtering across your entire Orbi mesh network.

Step 1: Access the Router

Open your web browser and navigate to routerlogin.com or 10.0.0.1. Log in with your administrator credentials.

Step 2: Navigate to DNS Settings

Click the ADVANCED tab at the top of the page. Then select SETUP + and choose Internet Setup. Scroll down to find the "Domain Name Server (DNS) Address" section.

Step 3: Update DNS Settings

Select "Use these DNS Servers" instead of the automatic ISP option. Enter the following CleanBrowsing DNS addresses:

  • Primary DNS: 185.228.168.168
  • Secondary DNS: 185.228.169.168

Click "Apply" to save the changes.

Note: If you have a paid CleanBrowsing plan, use the DNS IPs provided in your dashboard instead.
