CleanBrowsing offers a safe way to browse the web without surprises. Our free family filter, for example, blocks adult content, while still allowing Google, Youtube, Bing and the rest of the web to load safely. All it takes is 5 minutes to enable the service for free and nothing to install.
Just pick the devices your kids will use and change the DNS server on them to point to 22.214.171.124 (or 126.96.36.199). You can also change the DNS server on your router to cover your whole house. It really just takes 5 minutes.
We also have a less restrictive adult filter and a security filter that blocks access to malicious and phishing domains. Our paid plans give you the customization to block additional categories (for things like Gaming, Gambling, Torrents, etc). Check out our plans page for more details.

Just switched my home DNS to use @cleanbrowsing. In addition to standard DNS, they also support DNSCrypt, DNS over HTTPS, and DNS over TLS. 🔒— MICHAEL JACKSON (@mjackson) October 9, 2018

*Thanks @jedisct1 for the help.
If you have little ones, @cleanbrowsing is a high performing, free way to keep their eyes away from things they shouldn't see online, whatever the device they're using. Really great to see an option for families and schools that can't afford expensive software to do this. 👏 https://t.co/abL24epeHu— Angelique Medina (@bitprints) October 12, 2018
CleanBrowsing doesn't require any software or installation on your network for it to work. All you have to do is to change the DNS servers for your home router, computer or device that you want to force a clean browsing experience.
Different than other solutions, Youtube, Google, Bing and all major sites will still work! Except that it will automatically force the Safe Filters and prevent it from being disabled at the browser level.
If you are concerned about your young kids seeing things they should not, we are on the same page. With 3 young kids, I wanted to allow them to use their iPads & iPhones without being concerned that a pornographic popup ad would show up.
