Configure CleanBrowsing DNS on a Linksys WRT3200ACM Router

Learn how to change the DNS settings on your Linksys WRT3200ACM router to use CleanBrowsing. This guide walks you through the specific steps for the WRT3200ACM model.

Step 1: Access the Router

Open your web browser and navigate to 192.168.1.1. Log in using your administrator password.

Step 2: Navigate to DNS Settings

From the router dashboard, go to the Connectivity section, then select Local Network.

Step 3: Update DNS Settings

Enter the following CleanBrowsing DNS addresses:

  • Primary DNS: 185.228.168.168
  • Secondary DNS: 185.228.169.168

Note: If you have a paid CleanBrowsing plan, use the DNS IPs provided in your dashboard instead.

Step 4: Save Changes

Click "Save Settings" to apply the configuration. You might briefly lose connectivity while the router reboots — this is normal.
