Change DNS on Google Fiber Router

Learn how to configure CleanBrowsing DNS on your Google Fiber router (GFRG200, GFRG210, GFMN100) to enable content filtering for your home network.

Step 1: Access the Router

Sign into your Google Fiber account using your email and password. You will need administrator credentials to proceed with configuration changes.

Step 2: Navigate to DNS Section

From the router dashboard, select Network at the top-left corner (or access it through the navigation menu if not immediately visible). In the settings pane, click Advanced, then select the DNS tab.

Step 3: Update DNS Settings

Choose Custom for DNS Servers. Enter the CleanBrowsing DNS addresses:

  • Primary DNS: 185.228.168.168
  • Secondary DNS: 185.228.169.168

If you have a paid CleanBrowsing plan, use the DNS IPs provided in your account instead.

Select Apply to save your configuration changes.
