Change DNS on a Frontier Router

Learn how to configure CleanBrowsing DNS on your Frontier router to enable content filtering across your entire home network.

Step 1: Access the Router

Log into your Frontier router by navigating to http://myfiosgateway.com in your web browser and entering your administrator credentials.

Step 2: Navigate to DNS Section

Follow these navigation steps:

  • Click the My Network icon
  • Select Network Connections from the left menu
  • Choose Broadband Connection (Ethernet/Coax)
  • Click the Settings button at the bottom

Step 3: Update DNS Settings

In the DNS Server section, select Use the following DNS Server addresses from the dropdown menu. Enter the CleanBrowsing DNS addresses:

  • Primary DNS Server: 185.228.168.168
  • Secondary DNS Server: 185.228.169.168

If you have a paid CleanBrowsing plan, use the DNS IPs provided in your account instead.

Click Apply to save changes.
