Configure CleanBrowsing DNS on a D-Link DSL-3890 Router

Learn how to configure CleanBrowsing DNS on your D-Link DSL-3890 router. This guide walks you through the interface navigation to change your DNS settings for network-wide content filtering.

Step 1: Open Settings

Access your D-Link DSL-3890 router admin panel and from the homepage, select "Go To Settings."

Step 2: Go to Advanced Settings

Navigate to "Advanced Settings" from the settings page.

Step 3: Skip Wireless Settings

You will first enter the Wireless settings area. Click "Advanced Settings" again to proceed past this section.

Step 4: Access Network Settings

Access the Network settings and select "Advanced Settings" once more to reveal DNS configuration options.

Step 5: Configure DNS

Enter the CleanBrowsing DNS addresses in the "Primary DNS Server" and "Secondary DNS Server" fields:

  • Primary DNS: 185.228.168.168
  • Secondary DNS: 185.228.169.168

Click "Apply" or "Save" to save the configuration.

Note: If you have a paid CleanBrowsing plan, use the DNS IPs provided in your dashboard instead.
