Configure CleanBrowsing DNS on a D-Link DIR-825 Router

Learn how to change the DNS settings on your D-Link DIR-825 router to use CleanBrowsing. This guide covers the specific steps for the DIR-825 model to enable network-wide content filtering.

Step 1: Access the Router

Open your web browser and navigate to 192.168.0.1. Log in with your administrator credentials.

Step 2: Navigate to DNS Settings

Click on the "Manual Internet Connection Options" button. Locate the DNS section under the "Dynamic IP (DHCP) Internet Connection Type" area.

Step 3: Update DNS Settings

Enter the CleanBrowsing DNS addresses in the Primary and Secondary DNS Server fields:

  • Primary DNS: 185.228.168.168
  • Secondary DNS: 185.228.169.168

Note: If you have a paid CleanBrowsing plan, use the DNS IPs provided in your dashboard instead.

Step 4: Save Changes

Click the "Save" button to apply the configuration changes.
