Learn how to change the DNS settings on your D-Link DSL-225 router to use CleanBrowsing. This guide covers the specific steps for the DSL-225 model to enable network-wide content filtering.
Open your web browser and navigate to your router's local IP address, typically 10.0.0.138. Log in with your administrator credentials.
Click the "Advanced" menu tab, then select "DNS" from the sidebar options. The DNS settings are located in the Dynamic IP (DHCP) Internet Connection Type section.
Enable "Use the following Static DNS IP address" and enter the CleanBrowsing DNS addresses:
185.228.168.168185.228.169.168Note: If you have a paid CleanBrowsing plan, use the DNS IPs provided in your dashboard instead.
Click "Apply/Save" and reboot the router to activate the changes. The router restart is required for the new DNS settings to take effect.
