CleanBrowsing offers all paid users the ability to set a retention period for DNS logs, download logs for analysis, and configure long-term storage options.
The Privacy and Data Retention settings are configured via the Data Retention settings page. There are three key options:

| Visibility | CleanBrowsing provides storage of logs up to 7 days. Long-term storage is available through the Trunc partnership (an affordable log management platform). |
| Reports-Only | Specific to log aggregation. Does not provide notifications or reports. Makes logs available for download but removes them from the activity monitoring dashboard. |
| Total Privacy | Removes all logging features. You can use the service, but no logs will be stored. All logs will be empty and the dashboard will show INACTIVE. |
Available DNS activity can be downloaded via the Data Retention control panel.
All logs are provided on a daily basis and are downloaded in CSV format.
CleanBrowsing is not a log management platform. For long-term storage, CleanBrowsing has partnered with Trunc, an affordable log management service. This partnership allows CleanBrowsing customers to easily send all their logs to a cloud-based service built to manage large volumes of raw DNS logs.
