Learn how to configure CleanBrowsing DNS on your CenturyLink Actiontec Q1000 router to enable content filtering for your home network.
Log into your router's browser-based utility by entering 192.168.0.1 (or your default configuration IP) into a browser.
Select the Advanced Setup option from the main menu.
Click WAN Settings from the Broadband Settings / IP Addressing section.
Scroll down to 4. Set the DNS Type then select Static DNS. Enter the CleanBrowsing DNS addresses:
If you have a paid CleanBrowsing plan, use the DNS IPs provided in your account instead.
Click Apply to save your settings.
