Advanced Customizations

There may be instances where you want to create custom rules that don't fit within the predefined filters provided, that's where the advanced customization comes into play. Activity Logging & Visibility

The logging feature allows you to see what is happening on the network. You can see what domains are being blocked, and what filters and rules are being triggered. Additionally, you have the ability to create your own data retention rules (e.g., don’t save logs, save for 30 days).

Group Devices with Profiles

One of the key features of the paid plans is the ability to create groups of users. Each group can have their own unique rules via the Profiles feature. This can be used to segment rules for Adults (e.g., Allow Social Domains) vs Kids (e.g., Disallow Social Domains), or to be used in an organization to conform to existing group / user policies.

Custom Block Pages

This feature allows you to create your own block page. A block page is the interstitial page a user sees when they access a domain that is blocked by your rules. It can be used to inform the user of who to contact if they believe they’ve reached an error.

Scheduler

The scheduling feature introduces a time-based exception that allows you to block things you'd normally allow, and allow things you'd normally block, dependent on a defined time period.

Two Schedulers Available:

1. Basic Scheduler: Pro 50 +, Limited to 2 Schedules / profile, Applies Everyday
2. Advanced Scheduler: Pro 100+, No schedule limits, Customize frequency

User Management (Account Access)

This feature allows you to add / remove users to your existing CleanBrowsing account. It introduces four key roles that allow you to differentiate between key functions like editing, read-only and billing.
