How to Change DNS on NordVPN

If you are using NordVPN as your VPN provider, you’re in luck. When using the app you can choose which DNS you want to use.

This means you can use the Free or Paid DNS values we provide on your VPN client.

Configure NordVPN with Preferred DNS Values

Configuring the desktop agent is easily done in about three steps.

1. Navigate to the Settings page (click the gear icon top rightof app)
2. Click on Advanced
3. Toggle Custom DNS to “ON”
4. Select the “Set a DNS server address” and enter the values you want to use
5. Stop and Restart the VPN connection for the change to take affect
