If you’re working with spectrum you might need to make your changes via the Spectrum App. In their more recent hardware deployments they no longer allow changes to be done via the routers IP.
This guide will show you where to make this change.
1 – Services Tab
When you first open the tab, your navigation is going to be on the bottom of the screen.
Click on “Services” to access the routers information:
2 – Advanced Settings
All network changes will exist inside the “Advanced Settings” menu option:
3 – Update DNS
The advanced settings page will present you with an option to update the DNS:
Click on “Manage DNS” and update the DNS to match the CleanBrowsing DNS you want to use:
4 – Restart System
The final step is to restart the router so that the settings stick. Navigate to “Advanced Settings” and find the restart option.
