What is DNS Filtering?
DNS Filtering is a content filtering service that relies on the Domain Name System (DNS) to block, or allow, content on a specific network. DNS offers users, and organizations, the ability to apply access rules across all devices independent of the OS or browser type. It is not tied to a specific technology, and it's at the core of how the web works.
What is Content Filtering?
Content Filtering is a mechanism that allows you to proactively decide what should, and should not be allowed on your internet. Organizations can build acceptable use policies with this technology, parents can control what their kids access, and municipalities can create family friendly hotspots.
CleanBrowsing DNS Filters / List of IP Addresses
We have 3 free content filters available via IPv4 and IPv6. Choose the one that fits your needs the most. All our IP addresses accept DNS request to the standard port 53 and 5353. DNS over TLS is available over port 853 and DNScrypt over port 8443.

This mobile-config is for iOS devices and makes use of encrypted DNS (DOT). This is especially for those using the Free filter and cellular providers like T-Mobile.

Blocks access to all adult, pornographic and explicit sites. It also blocks proxy and VPN domains that are used to bypass the filters. Mixed content sites (like Reddit) are also blocked. Google, Bing and Youtube are set to the Safe Mode. Malicious and Phishing domains are blocked.
